Automotive transceivers meet high-speed CAN specification

Texas Instruments TCAN1046V-Q1/TCAN1048V-Q1 Automotive High-Speed Dual CAN Transceivers satisfy the physical layer requirements of the ISO 11898-2:2016 high-speed CAN specification. The transceivers support both classical CAN and CAN FD networks up to 5Mbps. The devices include internal logic level translation through the VIO terminal to provide for interfacing the transceiver IOs directly to 1.8V, 2.5V, 3.3V, or 5V logic IOs.

The dual CAN channels support independent mode control via the standby pins. This enables the capability to place each transceiver into its low-power state, standby mode, without affecting the state of the other CAN channel. While in standby mode, the devices support remote wake-up via the ISO 11898-2:2016 defined wake-up pattern (WUP).

The transceivers also incorporate many protection and diagnostic features, including TSD, TXD-DTO, supply under-voltage detection, and bus fault protection up to ±58V.

The devices are AEC-Q100 qualified for automotive applications.
