Compact ITE grade AC/DC switching power supply

TRUMPower has released its 65W low profile open frame AC/DC power supplies. The TC65 series addresses a demand for compact convection-cooled AC/DC switching power supplies for general electronics applications from computers to telecom and audio/video equipment. These products have a small footprint of 2” x 3” x 0.97” (44.4mm x 76.2mm x 24.6mm) and an efficiency of 89% minimum, which provides flexibility to be used in a vast array of ITE applications.

All models in the series offer a wide operating input voltage range of 100VAC to 240VAC and have a no-load power consumption of less than 0.15W. This series is extremely versatile with its seven standard single output voltages of 5V, 9V, 12V, 15V, 19V, 24V, and 48VDC.

These power supplies have operating temperatures between 0C and 70C, whilst derating linearly from 100% load at 50C to 50% load at 70C. The units are extremely reliable with an MTBF of 300,000 hours minimum at full load, 25C ambient, calculated per Telecordia SR-332 and include overvoltage, short circuit, and over current protections.

The TC65 series is approved to the latest ITE IEC/UL 62368-1 (3rd Edition) and CSA C22.2 No. 62368-1 standards and comply with immunity standards including EN 55011/EN55022, FCC/VCCI class B (conducted and radiated emissions), EN 61000-3-2, EN 61000-3-3, EN 61000-4-2, EN61000-4-3, EN 61000-4-4, EN 61000-4-5, EN 61000-4-6, EN 61000-4-8, and EN 61000-4-11.
