Develop next-generation automotive applications with pre-configured cable assemblies

Amphenol RF has introduced a line of pre-configured FAKRA cable assemblies supporting frequencies through 3GHz and excellent for an extensive range of automotive development applications.

The company has introduced the pre-configured FAKRA cable assemblies featuring the popular RG-58 and RG-174 flexible cables. These cable assemblies are created with a mixture of connector configurations and several standard length options from 12" to 5m.

These cable assemblies employ high-performance industry-standard FAKRA connectors that are mechanically keyed and colour coded to evade mismating through the installation process. The assemblies support frequencies through 3GHz, allowing them to satisfy automotive applications such as 360-degree cameras, remote start and ADAS.

All of these cable assemblies are manufactured employing state of the art termination equipment to cut and strip the cables and terminate the connectors securely. The cables are then tested individually to guarantee the highest quality standards.
