Four-lane video switch enables next-gen commercial displays and more

Mouser now stocks the PI3WVR41310 13.5Gbps high-speed video switch from Diodes Incorporated.

The device is a multi-standard 4-lane 3:1 multiplexer/1:3 demultiplexer video switch with wide voltage range capability. This Mux/DeMux switch supports DisplayPort 2.1 (UHBR13.5), HDMI 2.1, and emerging and proprietary standards. The switch IC passes high-speed signals up to 1.2V peak-to-peak differential, with a common-mode voltage from 0 to VDD for TMDS signal. This switch IC enables DC-coupled multi-standard operation to eradicate AC coupling capacitors, save board space and enhance signal integrity for dense PCB design. The switch IC includes the DDC/AUX and HPD signals using the DDC/AUX and HPD channel Mux/DeMux.

Typical applications include next-generation commercial displays, gaming monitors, docking stations, video-matrix switches, and embedded applications.
