Industrial box PCs provide Intel-based processing for industrial control

Mouser now stocks Phoenix Contact's VL3 UPC Industrial Box PCs. These ultra-compact PCs feature sixth-generation embedded Intel Atom processors and are designed for continuous operation in demanding industrial environments. They provide leading connectivity options, ideal for IIoT applications such as edge computing and decentralised data collection.

The Industrial Box PCs provide a modern hardware platform with scalable performance, memory, and storage. Users can configure them to match the necessities of each application. The system offers a choice of processors and is pre-configured with DDR4 RAM and onboard NVMe solid-state storage.

The PCs can be configured with additional M.2 SSD storage and various I/O options, including wireless LAN, serial communication interfaces, extra Ethernet ports, and 4G/LTE. The fanless, compact form factor design – 100mm x 10mm x 50mm – provides for flexible installation in small enclosures and is DIN-mountable. The PCs are IP30-rated and have an operating temperature range of -20C to +60C. They support Windows 10 IoT Enterprise and Linux and are Windows 11-ready.
