Mouser now stocks Analogue Devices, Inc.'s MAX40109 low-power precision sensor interface SoC. The SoC integrates a high-precision, programmable AFE, ADC, calibration memory, and digital signal processing. Available in a TQFN package, the device is designed for various sensor applications, including force, pressure, temperature, strain gauges, and Wheatstone-Bridge.

This SoC provides a DAC with an output buffer to support analog voltage output and a 4mA to 20mA current loop. The device's sensor AFE offers analog and digital outputs. The device features an operating supply voltage range of 3V to 36V and an operating temperature range of -40C to +125C. The AFE can interface with resistive bridge-based pressure sensors, and the device can measure temperature directly from the resistive bridge or an external thermistor.

The device's digital interfaces program its calibration memory, the gain of the front-end programmable gain amplifier, and the internal current source that drives the sensors' bridge. The digital I2C interface can also retrieve the digital output data and generate alarms.
