New IP-rated models added to enclosed speakers line

CUI Devices’ Audio Group announced the addition of new IPX7 and IP67-rated models to its enclosed speakers line. The new waterproof models from the CES product family offer sound pressure levels from 95dB up to 109dB at 10cm, resonant frequencies from 750Hz to 1300Hz, and nominal inputs from 1W to 3W. Thanks to the enclosed speaker design and IP ratings, the models provide engineers with a turnkey solution fully optimised for superior sound quality and simplified design integration in applications that may be subject to moisture and environmental contaminants.

Available in oval, rectangular, round, or square frame shapes, these enclosed speakers are housed in packages ranging from 24mm x 15mm x 6.55mm up to 61.09mm x 61.09mm x 23.35mm. The models offer PEEK, PEI, or PET cone types, 4-Ohm or 8-Ohm impedance ratings, and wire leads with or without a connector. Select speakers also provide panel mount holes for easier installation and secure mounting.

These IP-rated models are available immediately and are suited to electronic devices subject to moisture or contaminants.
