New in Rutronik's ams OSRAM product portfolio are the DURIS E 2835 LEDs. The products made of pre-moulded PPA with the standardised 2835 footprint (2.8 m x 3.5mm) combine good mechanical flexibility and a wide beam angle of 120° (Lambertian emitter) with the compact form factor and provide competitive value at application and system level. The cost-effective components are offered with different CRIs from 2,200K to 6,500K, ensuring good control of colour consistency. The impressive mechanical strength and adaptability when mounted on flexible substrates make them the ideal light source for professional interior lighting, strip lighting or round ceiling luminaires. The product is a DLC premium product with an excellent service life.

The LEDs are installed in white SMT housings. The ESD is a low 2kV according to ANSI/ESDA/JEDEC JS-001 (HBM, class 2). Test results according to IESNA LM-80 for lumen maintenance are already available.

The LEDs have a comprehensive reliability assessment prior to product release and covers three CRIs (GW JTLMS3.EM: CRI 80; GW JTLMS3.CM: CRI 90; GW JTLMS3.GM: CRI 97) to fulfil the diverse needs of interior lighting designs. High CRIs, such as the GW JTLMS3.GM with a CRI of 97, are predestined for niche applications with high demands on the quality of color rendering. The specially matched CCT of 2400K is particularly ideal for waterproof consumer applications. They deliver optimum results at an operating temperature range of -40C to +100C.
