Safety-locked transparent covers for any enclosure or panel

Foremost Electronics offers the availability of two new windows for protecting HMIs from enclosure specialist FIBOX.

The Protection Window (PW) series offers an easy-to-install, secure HMI access point for any enclosure or flat surface and provides high ingress and impact protection to IP66 and IK09. They can protect control equipment or touch panels and provide integrated hinges and two double-bit locks, supplying system security while permitting easy access for operators. The series has the deepest working area and the largest viewing space available.

The series is suitable for use with FIBOX enclosures or those from any other manufacturer. The secure low profile, continuous hinge design and sleek integrated quarter turn locks of the protection windows limits access when security and safety are required.

The series is offered in two sizes of 340mm x 300mm x 90mm and 450mm x 400mm x 90mm and are fitted with double-bit locks as standard.

Key features include a low-profile continuous hinge; overlapping cover for strength, and increased gasket protection; on request). The series has IP 66 IK 09 −40C +120C, a large viewing area, transparent covers, and an integrated PUR gasket.
