Ultra-high peak power supplies for complete industrial system

Mouser now supplies the HRPG-1000N3 1000W ultra-high peak power supplies from MEAN WELL. The HRP(G) series is a high-end enclosed-type industrial power supply created with a double-sided layout PCB to supply engineers with a complete industrial power supply providing a suite of extended peak power control functions for industrial automation, mechanical and electrical equipment, emergency lighting systems, test and measurement instruments, laser-related machines and more.

The series delivers stable power in harsh industrial vibration or ambient temperature applications (up to +70C) while offering 320% peak power for higher wattage inductive or capacitive load applications needing higher startup power without additional wattage. These single-output AC/DC devices supply a high efficiency of >94%, a wide input voltage range of 90V to 264V, and different outputs with 2, 24, 36, and 48V models for various industrial equipment while supplying identical mechanical dimensions as the previous series, making replacement upgrades simple.

These 1000W ultra-high peak power supplies are cooled by a built-in fan with speed control and incorporate auxiliary power, remote sense, and remote on-off control for related monitoring functions that can be combined with HMI or automation control. The new HRP(G)-150/300/600/1000N3 series complies with UL/IEC/EN 62368-1 certification so that it can be operated with different mechanical or electronic equipment such as robotic arms, motor loads, coffee machines, emergency bus lighting systems and more.
