Waveguide calibration kits elevate precision and availability in waveguide technology

Fairview Microwave has introduced its newest lineup of waveguide calibration kits. Developed to calibrate and test microwave devices and systems, these kits are tailored particularly for the waveguide sizes WR-90, WR-75, WR-62, WR-34, WR-28, and WR-22.

Each calibration kit comprises two waveguide-to-coax adapters, a waveguide-matched termination, two waveguide short plates, and precision waveguide sections of 1/4λ, 1/8λ, and 3/8λ. The kits provide frequency-range options of 8.2GHz to 12.5GHz, 9.84GHz to 15GHz, 11.9GHz to 18GHz and 17.6GHz to 26.7GHz.

Also, the company has made optional waveguide straight sections available for individual purchase for professionals with specific needs. They are built for long-term reliability and are made of either aluminium or brass, depending on the waveguide size.
