Innovative Mesh Networks Unveiled with NeoCortec - EW24

The Electropages team met with Thomas Steen Halkier, CEO at NeoCortec, where they got an update on what the company has been working on since our last interview at Electronica 2022. 

Thomas shared insights into their focus on wireless mesh network communications, highlighting their solutions' low power consumption and high scalability. This technology is particularly apt for smart commercial buildings, providing a seamless integration of sensors, batteries, gateways, and cloud connectivity to craft holistic IoT systems. 

Since their last showcase, NeoCortec has made significant strides. They've moved from simple proof-of-concept demonstrations to offering comprehensive solutions that enable customers to build their own IoT networks. Their partnership with MikroElektronika to integrate click board modules featuring their technology exemplifies this progression. The demonstration included a variety of applications, from air quality sensors to the establishment of a local network mesh, illustrating NeoCortec's commitment to innovation and practical technology application in real-world environments.
