A complete wideband transceiver with a microcontroller module, the Linx Technologies HumPRO frequency hopping digital data transceiver module is now available from Mouser stock. The module is designed for robust data transfer and includes a frequency hopping protocol and supports versions at 2.4GHz and 900MHz with a common footprint and pinout. The module features a FHSS protocol that typically locks in at under 50ms which allows a quick wake-up, send, and sleep cycle. The HumPRO is designed for battery powered applications and can operate at 2V and has a low transmit current of 28-36mA, and a standby current as low as 1µA.
