Global distribution agreement expands wireless solution portfolio

Mouser Electronics, Inc. has announced a new global distribution agreement with Amphenol PCTEL, further strengthening its Amphenol wireless solution lineup for customers worldwide. It now offers products from over 50 Amphenol divisions.

PCTEL, Inc., an Amphenol company, is a leading global provider of wireless technology solutions, including purpose-built IIoT devices, antenna systems, and test and measurement products. Founded in 1994, it combines Amphenol's world-class resources with decades of experience to solve complex wireless challenges and assist organisations to stay connected.

The company will be stocking various products, including the Amphenol PCTEL Smarteq SmartBlade omnidirectional antennas, offering 5G, LTE, CBRS, 3G and 2G coverage in a compact, discreet design. These multiband antennas are created to satisfy a constant need for reliable communications in M2M, vehicle, and energy applications. They provide a 1.5dBi to 5.5dBi gain and are IP67-rated for harsh environments.

Amphenol PCTEL's In-Building Wi-Fi antennas facilitate connectivity in offices, small and large venues, or entire campuses. The Wi-Fi antenna portfolio includes monopoles, inverted-F, and dipole antennas for various applications. Models are available to cover the 2.4GHz, 5GHz, and 6GHz Wi-Fi bands with horizontal, vertical, or omnidirectional radiation patterns. These Wi-Fi antennas are suitable for use in MIMO systems, PC cards, wearable devices, IP cameras, set-top boxes, and access points.

The AllDisc cellular and Wi-Fi antennas provide a low profile and a durable design. These antennas are ground plane independent, allowing flexible and easy installation. These cellular antennas offer 5G, LTE, CBRS, 3G and 2G coverage, making them appropriate for smart city and smart metering applications, EV charging, and load handling. The 4xWiFi antenna provides 2.4-2.5/4.9-5.9GHz and 4x4 MIMO coverage, making it an ideal choice for applications such as indoor Wi-Fi coverage, internet onboard buses and Wi-fi zones.

The Amphenol PCTEL Broadband DC Blocked Protector supplies surge protection for HF, UHF, and VHF radios. The device provides a gas tube design, with no DC continuity between centre pins, making this bulkhead-mounted protector excellent for two-way radio and SCADA applications.
