Advancing industrial automation with smart sensor solutions webinar

10-04-2025 | Mouser Electronics | Test & Measurement

Mouser Electronics, Inc. has partnered with Analog Devices, Inc. (ADI) to provide the engineering community with a new webinar titled 'Engineering Reliable Industrial Automation with Sensor Fusion'. This free-of-charge webinar will take place on 29 April 2025 at 17:00 CET.

Industrial automation is pivotal in driving operational efficiency and precision across many sectors, including manufacturing, distribution, heavy industry, and construction. However, the performance of these complex automation systems relies on high-quality sensing technologies. These reliable, high-accuracy sensors are required to continuously monitor critical parameters such as pressure, temperature, flow, and position sensing.

For engineers, the seamless integration of diverse sensing technologies is required to create fast and reliable industrial automation solutions that minimise downtime and maximise consistency and precision. This webinar will deliver actionable insights into the latest sensing technologies and best practices for designing robust industrial automation systems.

By attending this webinar, participants will learn more about:

  • How sensors are employed in industrial automation to monitor system health and predict potential component failure.
  • The factors that contribute to the success or failure of seemingly similar inertial sensors in fulfilling the demands of the upcoming robotics revolution.
    • The methods to eradicate the necessity for re-homing industrial automation equipment.
    • products from ADI that help to improve industrial automation accuracy and reliability, including:
  • ADMT4000 True Power-On Multi-Turn Position Sensor is a magnetic position sensor able to record the number of rotations of a system even while the device is powered down.
  • ADXL380 3-Axis MEMS Accelerometers are low-noise, low-power 3-axis MEMS accelerometers with a built-in micropower temperature sensor, multi-tap detection modes, and a state machine to prevent false triggering.
  • ADIS1657x Precision MEMS IMU Modules are precise MEMS IMUs featuring a triaxial gyroscope and accelerometer with signal conditioning, SPI data communication, and robust shock survivability.

The webinar will be hosted by Mark Patrick, technical content director, Mouser Electronics in EMEA and will feature Enda Nicholl, strategic marketing manager for Magnetic Sensors, ADI and Tzeno Galchev, director of Marketing and Applications for Inertial Sensors, ADI, as guest speakers.
