Available now from Mouser stock, Murata Power Solutions' OKDx series
high-efficiency, digital point-of-Load (PoL) DC-DC power converters are
capable of delivering 50A to 165W.
Aimed at applications such as telecommunications, networking, and
distributed power applications, the converters can be configured and
monitored using industry-standard PMBus commands. They are available in
three different package formats, through-hole, single-in-line, and
surface-mount.
The units offer input voltages in the range 4.5VDC to 14VDC and provides a
configurable output voltage from 0.6VDC to 3.3VDC. Typical efficiency is
97.2% at 5Vin, 3.3Vout and with 50% load. OKDx digital converters have
advanced features including digital current sharing (full power, no
derating), non-linear transient response, optimized dead time control,
synchronization, and phase spreading.
