Synchronous step-down regulator module features adaptive ON-time control

23-01-2015 | Mouser Electronics | Power

Featuring a novel adaptive ON-time control architecture, Micrel's MIC452x synchronous step-down regulator module is now stocked by Mouser. The module incorporates a DC-DC controller, power MOSFETs, bootstrap diode, bootstrap capacitor, and an inductor in a single package; simplifying the design and layout process for the end user. The highly-integrated solution expedites system design and improves product time-to-market. The internal MOSFETs and inductor are optimized to achieve high efficiency at a low output voltage. The fully optimized design can deliver current under a wide input voltage range without requiring additional cooling, says the company.
