Two-stage power amplifier serves small-cell applications

RFMW now supplies the TQP9107 two-stage power amplifier from Qorvo (the new company name for the merger of TriQuint and RFMD). With two stages of amplification, the TQP9107 offers 35.5dB of gain with 31.4dBm output power. Covering 700 to 960MHz, the device serves small cell and repeater applications, DAS and booster amp applications for bands 5, 8, 12 and 13. Power added efficiency is rated at 31% with OIP3 of 46dBm. Packaged in a 3.5mm x 4.5mm surface-mount package the internally matched amplifier draws 84mA from a 4.3V supply.
