Now available from RS Compnents, the Panasonic PAN1740 Series is a compact
2nd generation Bluetooth Low Energy (BTLE) transceiver module featuring low
power consumption and has an embedded BTLE stack.
Low power consumption of 5mA in Tx or Rx mode reduces battery requirements
by up to 50% when compared to current generation BTLE devices. Measuring
just 9mm x 9.5mm x 1.8mm footprint, the unit is housed in a shielded case
with integrated crystal oscillators and chip antenna. The PAN1740 Series is
qualified to the Bluetooth 4.0 standard.
To help reduce time to market a designer-friendly easy-to-use USB dongle
development kit version is also available.
