Industrial power supplies for battery-backed applications

XP Power's BCS Series industrial AC/DC converters are now available from Digi-Key. The units are aimed at a broad range of applications that use battery backup to maintain equipment operation during a mains failure. The series offers 75W, 100W and 155W versions and are available with either 13.8VDC or 27.6VDC for 12VDC or 24VDC nominal outputs. The units provide a constant-voltage source to power the load. A separate constant-voltage/constant-current output charges the standby battery. An optional third 5VDC/3 A regulated output is available across the range to supply logic, fans, or additional control functions.
