Compact 3.3mm pitch power supply connectors carry up to 4A or 5A

Hirose Electric DF33C Series 3.3mm pitch small power supply connectors are now available from Mouser. Capable of carrying up to 4 or 5A, they provide a reliable locking feature that prevents accidental un-mating and a clear tactile click upon completion of the mating process. The connectors allow resin sealing for dust-proof requirements and a stable connection that prevents fretting corrosion. The housing protects each contact by enclosing them in a box, which also makes each contact independent of each other preventing short circuits between neighbouring contacts. The connectors come in a wide variety from single row 2 to 6 positions to double row 4 to 12 positions, says the company.
