High-reliability TVS diodes target DC line protection in aviation electronics

Specially screened and sorted for use in DC line protection in aviation electronics, Littelfuse high-reliability TVS diodes are now stocked by Mouser. The SMBJ-HR and SMBJ-HRA series surface-mount 600W devices are available in a compact DO-214AA SMB package. They are designed to protect sensitive electronic equipment from voltage transients induced by lightning surge and other transient voltage events. The components in both series have undergone a 100% screen sorting process. The SMBJ-HR diodes also go through Group B (surge test, HTRB, and electrical test) sort processing. Other applications include the protection of I/O interfaces, VCC bus and other vulnerable circuits used in telecom, computer, industrial and consumer electronic applications.
