STM's STEVAL-TSP Series Power Over Ethernet PD Converters are now available
from Mouser stock. They are simple, low-cost 3.3V / 3A and 5V / 2A fly-back
converters based on the PM8800A - a highly-integrated device embedding an
IEEE 802.3af compliant 'Powered Device' (PD) interface together with a PWM
controller. It can be successfully used in all low-power low-cost PoE
applications, says the company.
