Single-channel high-side switch ICs feature low on resistance and low supply current

05-03-2015 | Mouser Electronics | Power

Aimed at applications in the power supply line of universal serial bus (USB) applications, Rohm's BD820xxFVJ single-channel high-side switch ICs employ an N-channel power MOSFET with low on resistance and low supply current. Mouser now offers the devices from stock. The devices have an over-current detection circuit, thermal shutdown circuit, under-voltage lockout and soft-start circuit built in. The devices are seen as ideal for power management in USB memory sticks, expansion modules for PCs, and other digital devices.
