Available now from Mouser stock, Monolithic Power Systems' MPM3805 6V Input,
0.6A module synchronous step-down converter with Integrated Inductor
simplifies power system design.
The DC-DC module is available in a small surface-mount QFN-12 2.5mm x 3mm x
0.9mm package and achieves 0.6A continuous output current from a 2.5V to 6V
input voltage with excellent load and line regulation. The device's output
voltage is regulated as low as 0.6V. For adjustable output, designers only
need FB resistors and input and output capacitors to complete the design.
The MPM3805's constant-on-time control (COT) scheme delivers fast transient
response and eases loop stabilization. Fault condition protection includes
cycle-by-cycle current limiting and thermal shutdown (TSD).
The MPM3805 is ideal for a wide range of applications including high
performance DSPs, FPGAs, PDAs, portable instruments, and storage, says the
company.
