Primary-side regulation PWM controller keeps component count low

29-05-2015 | Mouser Electronics | Power

Designed to minimize components for low-power LED lighting solutions, Fairchild Semiconductor's FL7734 primary-side regulation PWM controller is now stocked by Mouser. The FL7734 uses proprietary TRUECURRENT technology for tight constant-current control. Meet stringent LED brightness requirements for designs with a constant-current (CC) tolerance of less than ± 1% in the wide line voltage range. The FL7734 can operate with all types of phase cut dimmers. A constant input current control and bleeding current control achieves exceptional dimmer compatibility without visible flicker, says the company.
