The BVM Group has added the new ASRock IMB-153 to its extensive Mini-ITX
(6.7 x 6.7 inch) embedded motherboard portfolio, which includes units
optimised for use across the spectrum of power v performance requirements.
Intended for use in moderate performance applications such as POS, kiosk,
video display and thin clients, the IMB-153 offers entry level performance,
low power consumption and fanless operation. The quad-core Celeron J1900
Baytrail-M processor operates at 2GHz, has a 2MB L2 cache and addresses up
to 8GB of dual-channel DDR3 1333MHz system memory.
The Intel Baytrail Gen 7 Graphics support DirectX 11 and OGL3.2 with shared
VRAM memory. The board supports VGA at 1920 x 1200 pixels and HDMI 1.3a at
1920 x 1200 pixels and has dual display capability. External I/O includes a
Gigabit Ethernet RJ45 port, a PCIe slot, one USB 3.0 and three USB 2.0 ports
and an RS-232 serial port. The mass storage interface is via two internal
SATA2 3.0 Gb/s ports; input power is from an external source via an ATX
24-pin connector and both AT and ATX Power On modes are supported. A 256
segment programmable watchdog timer is provided, says the company.
