Integrated single-channel current-limited high-side power switches

Now available from Mouser stock, Diodes Inc.'s AP2X Series offers single-channel, current-limited, integrated high-side power switches optimized for Universal Serial Bus (USB) and other hot-swap applications such as LCD TVs / monitors, set-top boxes, residential gateways, laptops, desktops, servers, e-readers, docking stations and hubs. The AP2X devices comply with USB standards and are available with both polarities of enable input. They have fast short-circuit response time for improved overall system robustness. An integrated output discharge function ensures complete controlled discharging of the output voltage capacitor. A complete protection solution is provided for applications subject to heavy capacitive loads and short circuit. The device also offers reverse current blocking, over-current, over-temperature, short-circuit protection and controlled rise time and under-voltage lockout functionality.
