RFMW offers design and sales support for Peregrine Semiconductor’s PE43713, a 7-bit digital step attenuator featuring 'glitch-less' attenuation state transitions, 1.8V control voltage support and extended operating temperature range to 105 degrees Celsius. These features, in addition to a bypass mode that improves spurious performance make the Peregrine PE43713 ideal for test and measurement applications.
Operating from 9kHz to 6GHz, the PE43713 is capable of maintaining 0.25dB monotonicity through 4GHz, 0.5dB monotonicity through 5GHz and 1dB monotonicity through 6GHz. The attenuator incorporates both parallel and serial programming interfaces including the capability to program an initial attenuation state at power up. Peregrine offers this silicon on insulator device in a 5mm x 5mm QFN package.
