TE Connectivity's stacked QSFP+ connector and cage assemblies are now available from Mouser stock. Offering superior signal integrity surpassing competitive solutions by up to 8dB (at 5GHz), the Quad Small Form-factor Pluggable (QSFP+) stacked cage assemblies provide four channels of data in one pluggable interface. Each channel can transfer data at up to 10 Gbps, meeting QSFP+ requirements. The TE Connectivity stacked QSFP+ connector and cage assemblies, available from Mouser Electronics, include an enhanced EMI-resistant gasket and cage, feature increased panel port density, and support stacked configurations. These QSFP+ connectors are a high-speed and cost-effective alternative to fiber optics in short reach 10 Gigabit and 40G Ethernet and InfiniBand applications. The stacked configurations on these I/O connectors increase panel port density, and the enhanced elastomeric gasket and cage design provide excellent EMI suppression with up to a 10dB advantage from 2 to 10GHz over competing solutions. Apart from its superior mechanical, thermal and electrical performance, these QSFP+ connectors support the following standard data application protocols: 10 Gigabit and 40G Ethernet; InfiniBand SDR (2.5Gbps), DDR (5Gbps) and QDR (10Gbps); and Serial attached SCSI (SAS). The stacked QSFP+ connectors and cage assemblies are available in 2- or 4-port configurations with a Press Fit termination style and gold contact plating. All devices offer an industry standard footprint and interface design. The QSFP+ connectors are ideal for a variety of telecommunications and computing applications, including servers, hubs, switches, routers, storage devices and network interface cards (NICs), says the company.
