Locking 2.54mm centreline auto connectors cope with vibration and stress

TE Connectivity's Micro Quadlok System (MQS) auto connectors are now available from Mouser stock. They utilize a 2.54mm centreline for applications in motor vehicles where vibration and mechanical stress are a concern. The MQS includes the positive features of existing contact systems, including high packing density, high load of current carrying capacity, robust design, and safe handling. The receptacle contacts and pin contacts are able to be inserted safely into the contact cavity and latch in with a clear click. The receptacle makes contact with four contact points on a 0.63 x 0.63mm pin contact and reaches a current carrying capacity of up to 7.5A at 80C.
