Reduce the time, complexity and risk of developing 3D motion solutions

24-08-2015 | RS Components | Design & Manufacture

The Microchip MM7150 Motion Module PICtail / PICtail Plus Evaluation Board is now available from RS Componnets. The development platform allows engineers to easily explore and develop motion measurement functionality for their designs using Microchip's 16-bit and 32-bit PIC microcontrollers. This MM7150 aims to reduce the time, complexity and risk of developing 3D motion solutions for embedded and Internet-of-Things (IoT) applications. On board are three motion sensors (accelerometer, magnetometer and gyroscope) for 9-axis measurement along with Microchip's SSC7150 Motion Coprocessor which is pre-programmed with calibration and Sensor Fusion algorithms. This PICtail plugs directly into the Explorer 16 Development Board.
