Robust op-amp integrates input protection against signal excursions

03-09-2015 | Digikey | Design & Manufacture

Introduced as the industry's first and most robust operational amplifier to integrate input protection against signal excursions of 32V beyond the supply rails, and 70dB of rejection for electro-magnetic interference (EMI) above 1GHz, Analog Devices' ADA4177 is now available from Digi-Key. The ADA4177-2 dual-channel, precision, low-noise, low-input operational amplifier was designed to address system designers' needs for a sensor interface amplifier with precision, linearity, and environmental immunity for mission critical process control, defence, aerospace, and motor control applications, as well as multi-channel data acquisition instrumentation designs. The ADA4177-2 is typically used in designs where the amplifier inputs are exposed to over-voltage and/or EMI, and the need for improved precision or protection in the signal chain is required. The ADA4177-2 integrates input over-voltage protection (OVP) and EMI filters to protect signal integrity while maintaining system precision and linearity.
