Mouser now stocks the Bourns PN-DESIGNKIT-48 PortNote solution for HDMI 2.0
ports which provides IEC 61000 Level 4 ESD (Electrostatic Discharge)
protection without impairing the HDMI signal.
The kit includes a quantity of 10 CDDFN10-3324P TVS diode arrays, 5
CDSOT236-0504C TVS diode arrays, and 5 MF-FSMF2020X-2 Multifuse PTC
resettable fuses. HDMI 2.0 offers an enhanced throughput of 18Gbps for
video, audio, and Ethernet in applications such as UHDTVs, set-top boxes,
DVD players, PCs, gaming stations, and more.
The kit allows for robust ESD protection that does not affect the impedance
of the differential transmission lines is required. Over-current and surge
protection of the 5V supply from spikes caused by hot plugging of the
connector is also provided.
