Robust and reliable metal line switch for potentially explosive environments

With its certification in accordance to ATEX and IECEx, the first switch from the Schurter PSE family is now approved for use in potentially explosive atmospheres containing air and gases. Certified according to ATEX/IECEX approvals, the PSE EX family is ideal for use in a potentially explosive atmosphere containing air gases and dust. The switches certified for use in hazardous areas are available in 19mm and 22mm diameters and are labelled with the approval information and an identification number. The PSE EX standard versions are deliverable with 16mm, 19mm and 22mm mounting diameters with pin connections. The housing is available in red, green or natural aluminium. Additional colours, mounting diameters and connections are obtainable on request, says the company.
