New solder versions for popular panel-mount connector range

21-10-2015 | Binder | Connectors, Switches & EMECH

Designed to offer benefits in all types of control, automation systems and sensing and instrumentation equipment, Binder has introduced a new solder version of its successful range of panel-mount connectors. The new versions incorporate longer contacts that protrude slightly from the housing to aid termination. Both nickel-plated brass and polyamide bodies are available housing gold-plated contacts featuring an M16 x 1.5mm fixing thread. The metal bodies can be mounted directly to a threaded hole in a panel and the plastic versions are supplied with a hex nut and the integral O-ring ensures protection to IP67 or IP68 when mated. Versions are available with 4, 5 and 8 poles and are rated at 4A (2A for 8 pole) and voltages of 250V, 125V and 60V.
