The Molex MediSpec medical plastic circular (MPC) interconnect system is now available from Mouser stock. The system combines premium performance and ease of use to meet the stringent standards of medical-device users. MediSpec MPC connectors utilize Molex LFH contact system to ensure a reliable electrical interface and 10,000 mating cycles. The connectors offer push-pull engagement with optional locking sleeve for easy use. Lightweight medical-grade plastic housing on the standard male plug and panel-mount female receptacles withstands medical industry sterilization processes, including autoclave, EtO, gamma, and chemical. IP64 rating option is available, protecting against dust ingress and splashing water. In addition to medical applications, the connectors are also ideal for use in instrumentation, test and measurement, avionics, data acquisition, and entertainment equipment, says the company.
