Design & Manufacture
Custom MMIC is now offering a new low-noise amplifier (LNA) that is seen as ideal for EW and communication systems where small size and low power consumption are critical.
The CMD223 9-18GHz balanced low-noise amplifier features a low noise figure, high-gain, broadband performance, exceptional return losses, and single positive supply voltage. At 13.5GHz the device delivers greater than 22dB of gain with a corresponding output 1dB compression point of +13.5dBm and a noise figure of 1.5dB.
The device's 50ohm matched design eliminates the need for external DC blocks and RF port matching. It also offers full passivation for increased reliability and moisture protection making it ideal for applications such as point-to-point radios, defence and space, test instrumentation and sensors.
