Aimed at distributed power, PoL, industrial and networking applications, Rohm's BD9E151 nonsynchronous step-down DC-DC converters are now available from Digi-Key. The device features a wide 6V to 28V input and is capable of handling 1.2A of output current through the integrated 80mohm power MOSFET. Features such as over-current protection, under-voltage lockout, thermal shutdown, soft-start, and over-voltage protection increase system reliability. Efficiency is increased with automatically activated pulse skipping at light loads and 0µA shutdown supply current.
