Bi-directional matrix switch puts signals through USB3.0 Type-C connectors

Pericom Semiconductor's PI3USB30532 matrix switch is now stocked by Mouser. It is a 6:4 differential channel bi-directional matrix switch designed for switching USB3.0 or DP1.2 signals through USB3.0 Type-C connectors. The PI3USB30532 multiplexes either one lane of USB3.0, one lane of USB3.0, and two channels of DP1.2 or 4 channels of DP1.2 to the USB Type-C connector. AUXHPD channels are also multiplexed to the Type-C connector. Applications include routing USB3.0 SuperSpeed and DP1.2 signals through the USB Type-C connector, Ultrabooks, 2-in-1 notebooks, tablets, mobile workstations and all-in-one PCs.
