Mouser now stocks the ON Semiconductor MatrixCam Video Development Kit which streams 1080p video over WiFi or Ethernet and has an open architecture for IoT development.
The low-power intelligent streaming device features an integrated PIR sensor that detects movement. When activity is detected, a notification is sent to the user's mobile device to view a live stream or still image and time stamp.
?The kit has resolution options available for video streaming and supports microSD cards and cloud services for storage and playback of images/video clips. It connects to a cloud service with support for video on demand (VOD) and live streaming.
The system is configured using a GUI or mobile application. To receive GUI requests, an embedded HTTP server is provided.
