RFMW has announced it is now stocking the RFaxis RFX2411N, a fully-integrated, single-chip, single-die RFeIC (RF Front-end Integrated Circuit) incorporating all the RF functionality needed for wireless ZigBee / smart energy applications. Designed for operation in the 2.4GHz ISM band, the RFX2411N architecture integrates a PA, LNA, transmit and receive switching circuitry, the associated matching network, a harmonic filter and a diversity switch all in a CMOS, single-chip device. An integrated bypass mode offers flexibility for multiple system implementations. Supporting the 802.15.4 and ZigBee standards, the RFaxis RFX2411N provides 24dB small signal gain in Tx mode with an output P1dB rated at 19dBm. Rx noise figure is rated at 2.5dB. The RFX2411N operates on supply voltages from 2.4 to 3.6V and is housed in a 3mm x 3mm QFN package.
