Now available from Digi-Key, Infineon's XMC4700 and XMC4800 devices are
members of the XMC4000 family of microcontrollers based on the ARM Cortex-M4
processor core.
The XMC4000 is a family of high-performance and energy-efficient
microcontrollers optimized for industrial connectivity, industrial control,
power conversion, sense, and control.
The growing complexity of today's energy efficient embedded control
applications are demanding microcontroller solutions with higher performance
CPUs along with digital signal control (DSC) and floating point unit (FPU)
capabilities to handle complex control algorithms and integrated peripherals
that are optimized for performance.
Combined with a development environment designed to shorten product
development time and increase productivity, XMC4700 and XMC4800 family of
microcontrollers take advantage of Infineon's decades of experience in the
industrial market to provide an optimized solution to meet the performance
challenges of today's embedded control applications.
