A highly-integrated, single-chip microcontroller solution incorporating a
complete RF system and an on-chip DC-DC converter - the Texas Instruments
(TI) CC1310 is now available from Farnell element14.
The first part in a Sub-1GHz family of cost-effective, ultra-low power
wireless MCUs, the CC1310 device combines a powerful 48MHz Cortex M3
microcontroller with a flexible, ultra low power RF transceiver in a
platform that supports multiple RF standards and physical layers.
A dedicated radio controller handles low level RF protocol commands that are
stored in ROM or RAM, ensuring ultra-low power and flexibility, without
compromising on sensitivity or RF performance, says the company.
