Available now from Farnell element14, Keithley's 2268 Series 850W (max) DC
bench power supplies are available in six formats. The compact form factor
units target high-density automated test (ATE) rack applications. They are
the only power supplies that offer over 760W (up to 850W in some models) in
a space-saving, 1U half-rack enclosure. Unlike competing products.
The units also feature useful additional control outputs including separate
15V and 5V outputs for controlling relays and for interfacing with test
fixtures and component handlers, thereby eliminating the need for additional
instruments in the test system.
The Series 2268 supplies also have isolated analogue control lines, so that
when controlling the supply output with analogue signals, the isolated
analogue inputs minimise potential ground loops.
The range is aimed at the automotive, industrial products (control systems
etc.) and defence / aerospace industries. The power supplies are
particularly well suited for test engineers designing automated test
systems, says the company.
