A dual high-performance DC-DC regulator that generates independently
regulated resistor programmable Vpos and Vneg outputs - the Analog Devices
ADP5070 is now available from Farnell element14 stock.
With an input range of 2.85V to 15V, the ADP5070 supports a wide variety of
applications including bipolar amplifiers, CCD bias supply, optical module
supply and RF power amplifier bias. The device features an integrated main
switch in both regulators enabling an adjustable positive output voltage up
to +39 V and a negative output voltage of as little as -39V below input
voltage.
A fixed internal or resistor programmable soft start timer prevents inrush
current at power-up. During shutdown, both regulators completely disconnect
the loads from the input supply.
The ADP5070 can synchronize with an external oscillator from 1MHz to 2.6MHz,
operating at a pin selected 1.2MHz/2.4MHz switching frequency. Both
regulators implement programmable slew rate control circuitry for the MOSFET
driver stage to reduce electromagnetic interference (EMI).
Additional features include over-current protection (OCP), over-voltage
protection (OVP), thermal shutdown (TSD) and input under-voltage lockout
(UVLO).
