Qorvo's TGA2219-CP 25W GaN Power Amplifier is now available from Mouser
stock. Offered as a three-stage power amplifier operating from 13.4 -
16.5GHz, the device was developed using TriQuint's production 0.15um GaN on
SiC process.
The TGA2219-CP amplifier provides >30dB small signal gain with 31% power
added efficiency. It is fully matched to 50ohm with integrated DC blocking
capacitors on RF ports to simplify system integration. With its pure-copper
base and high efficiency, the TGA2219-CP minimizes the strain on the
system-level cooling requirements, resulting in reduced system operating
costs.
Superior electrical performance and thermal management makes the TGA2219-CP
well-suited to supporting communications and radar applications in both
commercial and defence markets, says the company.
