Colour-coded wire-to-board connectors enhance user-safety

Leveraging full keying and colour-pairing features, Molex CP-6.5 wire-to-board connectors are now available from TTI Europe. They are designed to enhance user-safety while speeding up consumer and industrial interconnect assembly applications. Consumer and industrial product developers need infallible interconnect systems that provide quick, easy identification of mated pairs in their wire-to-board applications. Molex's 6.5mm wire-to-board receptacles and PCB headers have colour-coded housings to differentiate mating possibilities. Connectors with mismatched colours do not mate. Unique keying features within each header and receptacle housing prevent entry of receptacle into header when mis-mated, says the company.
