03-02-2016 | Farnell element14 | Design & Manufacture

Designed to help analog power supply designers and embedded software programmers to accelerate their understanding of digital power control, Infineon's XMC Digital Power Explorer Kit is now available from Farnell element14. The kit includes an XMC control card, synchronous buck power board, DAVEv4 IDE and digital power APPs. The kit's power board features synchronous buck converter with on-board restive load banks that can be switched between 10%, 55% and 100% of maximum load to test the transient response and quality of control loop under different load conditions. Multiple test points are also provided, in addition to PMBus for easy integration in more complex power management systems.
