Compact micro laser distance sensors deliver high performance

RS Components now stocks Panasonic's HG-C series micro laser distance sensors which provides high-end performance in a small lightweight package. This sensor indicates measured values in mm, and also outputs analog voltage. The data can be used for various calculations and storage when the output is sent to a PLC + analog unit. Also, the external input can be configured to perform one of four functions: zero adjustment, teaching, laser ON/OFF or trigger function selection. Three measurement ranges are available (100mm ±35, 50mm ±15 and 30mm ±5).
